The Pune Airport authorities have introduced low-floor electric shuttle bus service to take passengers from Pune Airport Terminal 2 to Aeromall Parking zone. This decision comes after some travelers found the trek particularly tedious, with some even labeling Pune Airport as user-unfriendly.

2. Pune Metro – Airport Shuttle Bus Service
Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) operates a metro – airport shuttle bus service that connects Pune Airport to Yerwada Metro Station, Ramwadi Metro Station and Pune Station. These are fully air-conditioned electric buses, or e-buses, that operate every 30 minutes and are considered one of the most affordable and accessible options for passengers looking for budget friendly options to travel to and from Pune Airport.

3. City Bus Service Service
PMPML also operates regular bus service and rainbow buses that connects Pune city with the Lohegaon Airport in Pune. The Pune Airport bus timings are scheduled to operate every 30 minutes, offering convenient service throughout the day. The buses are available from early morning to late evening, ensuring regular connections between the airport and various parts of the city.

Please note: The Airport Special ABHI bus service operated by PMPML which was inaugurated in 2020 has been discontinued due to its low popularity. This bus service used to connect Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad with routes like Bhekrainagar(Hadapsar) to Airport, Swargate to Airport, Nigdi via Vishrantwadi and via Wakdewadi, Kothrud Stand to Airport and Hinjewadi Maan Phase 3 to Airport, etc.
The ABHI Bus service had limited stops and provided direct access to Lohegaon airport. Contrary to Abhi bus, the regular city bus service makes multiple stops, but if time isn’t an issue, these buses remain a budget-friendly option for reaching the airport.
4. Pre-Paid Taxi Service
You can book prepaid cab services (Sainath Taxi Sanghatna) at the designated booking counters in Aeromall, or choose app-based cab services like Ola and Uber. The pickup point is located at Aeromall parking on Level 2.
