Please note: The Airport Special ABHI bus service operated by PMPML which was inaugurated in 2020 has been discontinued due to its low popularity. This bus service used to connect Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad with routes like Bhekrainagar(Hadapsar) to Airport, Swargate to Airport, Nigdi via Vishrantwadi and via Wakdewadi, Kothrud Stand to Airport and Hinjewadi Maan Phase 3 to Airport, etc.

The ABHI Bus service had limited stops and provided direct access to Lohegaon airport. Contrary to Abhi bus, the regular city bus service makes multiple stops, but if time isn’t an issue, these buses remain a budget-friendly option for reaching the airport.

• T4 Access: Terminal 4 is located further away from the other terminals, so walking isn’t an option. You’ll need to take a shuttle bus, as described next.

1. Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna – Bangalore Station (KSR – Bangalore Station)

It serves Banaswadi and Baiyyappanahalli areas and connects connecting Yesvantpur Junction and Baiyappanahalli stations.

3. Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station

Crafted with classic colonial architectural elements, this railway station stands as a prominent hub in Bangalore. The station is situated in the locality of Vasanth Nagar and Shivajinagar.

4. Bangalore East Railway Station

Old British era railway station providing railway connectivity for people travelling to and from  Kolar Gold Fields or Madras. 

5. Hoodi Halt Railway Station

Located in Hoodi on Bengaluru-Chennai main line, the Hoodi Halt railway station serves Hoodi, Whitefield and the International Tech Park area.

6. Kengeri Railway Station

Kengeri Railway Station is the fourth largest station in Bangalore city that serves the Kengeri and Kengeri Satellite Town neighborhoods in the western part of the city.

7. Krishnarajapura Railway Station

Krishnarajapura Railway Station is a suburb station located in Krishnarajapuram, serving the Bangalore metropolitan area. Some of the major routes include to the places of Howrah, Chennai Central, and Patna Jn. This station is well connected to many parts of the city by BMTC buses. 

8. Nayandahalli Railway Station

Located on Mysore–Bangalore line, Nayandahalli Railway Station serves the Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Baapuji Nagara, Deepanjalinagara, and Vijayanagara areas of Bangalore city.

9. Yesvantpur Junction 

Yesvantpur Junction railway station, also Yeshwanthapura Junction railway station (station code: YPR) is one of the three important stations which serves the city of Bangalore.

This station is located on the Bangalore–Pune & Bangalore –Hyderabad main lines.

Being a main location, all trains bound towards Hubli & Hyderabad either originate from here or the ones from Bangalore City have a stop at this station.

The Yelahanka Junction Railway Station is located in the outskirts of Bangalore on  Guntakal–Bangalore line.

Whitefield Railway Station Bangalore serves the Whitefield area. It is on the Bangalore–Chennai main line. The railway station is located between Hoodi Halt railway station and Devangonthi railway station.

12. Baiyappanahalli Railway Station

Baiyyappanahalli serves as railway junction for Baiyyappanahalli, Indiranagar, Krishnarajapuram, and HAL areas. The station is India’s first airport-like railway station.
