A plane crash in Nepal has claimed the lives of all 18 individuals on board.
Nepal: In a heartbreaking incident, a Saurya Airlines plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, resulting in the loss of all 18 passengers. The flight, which was headed for Pokhara, encountered serious issues soon after departure, leading to a fatal crash.
The plane had just begun its journey when it slipped off the runway and crashed. The aircraft skidded and caught fire, producing a large plume of smoke visible from the airport. The crash occurred on 24th July 2024, around 11:15 am (0530 GMT), and immediate emergency responses were initiated.

Casualties and Rescue Efforts
The flight was carrying two pilots and 17 staff members from Saurya Airlines on a test flight. Tragically, all 18 people on board, including one female member, perished in the crash, except for the pilot who survived. The pilot is now receiving treatment at Kathmandu Medical College Hospital. Emergency services, including police and firefighters, quickly arrived at the scene and have recovered all 18 bodies.
