The delivery of food usually takes 20 minutes and the delivery personnel rides electric scooters to avoid pollution. Flyers then can either carry it on board or eat it while waiting at the boarding gates to catch their flight.
Eating at restaurants in New Delhi airport is expensive due to added airport tax. If you are looking for cheap food at Delhi Airport, you can head to the airport staff canteen where you can buy your food at reasonable rate.
The airport also have a luxury lounge, “Encalm Lounge” , where you can enjoy free breakfast, lunch or dinner at your comfort. To get free lounge access at IGI Airport, guests need to have specific credit cards or debit cards that offers lounge access in both domestic & international terminals.
Guests with eligible cards will be charged a nominal fee that will lead them to lounge access for 2 hours, complimentary or free food buffet and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks at the airport. Read More Details.
