Hyderabad Airport Express Metro
A new metro line called Hyderabad Airport Express Metro, also known as Corridor IV, is being planned in Hyderabad. It will connect Raidurg metro station near Mindspace junction to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
The project is being paid for by the Telangana State Government and is expected to be finished by 2026.
Once the project is done, people can check in and drop off their bags at Raidurg Metro Station and then go straight to the boarding gates at RGI Airport. It will take about 26 minutes to travel from Mindspace junction to RGIA.
The Airport Metro will have 10 stations and will pass through many residential areas like Rajendranagar, Budwel, Narsingi, Kismatpur, TS Police Academy, and Shamshabad.

There’s also a plan to have another metro line from Falaknuma in Old City to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. In the revised plan announced in January 2024, Chandrayangutta will be an interchange metro station.
The existing 5.5-km MGBS-Falaknuma route will be extended by another 1.5 km to Chandrayangutta. The new Airport line will run from Nagole to LB Nagar to Chandrayangutta to Mailardevpally to P7 Road and finally to Shamshabad Airport.
